getting started on Party
Hi I've basically got a load of newbie questions about Party, so if anyone could take the time to help me work out all the resources that people round here have created I'd be really grateful.
I have Party Planner and a Spade Eye demo going at the moment. 1. My mined hands don't seem to have the stakes showing up in PT. how do I fix this? 2. How can I 'mine' specific tables? i.e. save the observed HHs of some tables I'm watching? PT doesn't seem to save them any more, right? 3. How do I get my BetPot script working on Party (I'm using the standard one from Overcards)? 4. Is there any way to get a Stars-style favourite seat on Party? I find it really helps to be sitting in the same relative position on each table. Thanks a lot in advance. |

Re: getting started on Party
1. I don't understand this question
2. You can choose if you want to save observed hands or not when you import the hh's under the "Observed Hands" tab. 3. I'm not sure why BetPot wouldn't work for you? Are you running FreePHG? 4. Not that I'm aware of. |

Re: getting started on Party
Thanks for the help, to clarify question #1: In my Poker Tracker the stakes do not seem to be picked up: they are displayed as "NL $" in for example the Game Level column in the general tab. I've just downloaded FreePHG which seems like it will solve my problem #2. #3. I will try the BetPot script again. So does it need to get the FreePHG files to work properly? An additional question: I want to separate my mined database from my playing database. What's the best way to organise how the hand histories are collected and where they are stored so that I can use PT's Party auto import function to import the hand files? I can't think of a clearer way to phrase what I'm saying at the moment. Thanks again. |

Re: getting started on Party
Yes, betpot needs the FreePHG hh-files
Just create a second db and in the auto-import window check the "Observed Hands" tab and choose the db you just created, now all observed hands will go there. |
