Default 200nl AQs on Monotone board

I lost the HH, but it was last night against 200nl regular my first couple hands. I forget his name but he had a big stack and seemed to be running over the table repopping often.

I have 200 he covers.

In mp I raise to 8 with AQdd, he repops to 27 on button, I call. Flop comes A87 All hearts... Pot is 53 I bet 45 and he insta goes all in, whats your play ? I called....

well, why did you bet with the intention of folding? doesnt seem very good. i would either c/c w. the intention of bombing a turn or lead/call a shove. i really dont like the second as much though because your often flipping at best.

I intended to call a shove its just how fast he went all in that i found alarming. His range is extremely wide here from 54h-jj+, if you were me what would be your line, pf is fine I think, do u normally c/c flop ?

well, if you intend on calling a shove, just do it. but your flipping at best and often a dog.
