I don't know if u mentioned this wiggs but another thing that really helps me is to meditate on what my purpose is before every session. If I come in cold, and don't know what my goals are for a session, I usually don't do very well.

Thanks. I should have added another section called Play like AlReturnsLOL Pwn noobs like it's your job. Indy, Yeah I usually try to sharkscope anyone that I play in HU SNG. For some reason, there seems to be ton of guys that play these that are down tons of money at them. Of course on the other hand, I think I'm going to be one soon if I keep playing them...

Very solid post, every paragraph describes something I've had to learn the hard way. Some harder than others. Well, or at least I've had the opportunity to learn the hard way but may have been to stubborn to learn and change. Why do I keep trying to wash my car while 8-tabling?

Very nice post, I agree that table selection is something that most people probably don't do well (in STTs atleast). While I can usually get great sets if I load up all of them at once after making sure no one else has started doing the same thing already I definitley find times when they come in and load up my sets afterwards. I'm sure the affect of this gets worse as you move up in stakes too.

On this advice, I just made an effort to find tables with at least 4/9 losing players (this was the best ratio I could find!). I've always just clicked randomly on the tables and waited, like the player you refer to here. Holy [censored], it worked. 2nd in both.. because I simply eyed down the fish and gave extra respect to the profiters.. thanks wiggs [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
