Default Mini-Trip Report - Winstar Cinco de Mayo Grand Opening

SUMMARY:

I'm a dumbazz for showing up at 5pm Saturday.
343th, 278th, and 176th on the 1/2 NL, 2/5 NL, 5/10 NL respectively leads me to drop $200 playing 3 card poker for 5 hrs.
Some dude named Arvin won the car, which is great for him, unfortunately, he still is named "Arvin".
I play from 10pm to 8am and finish +$700 between 1/2 and 2/5 NL.
I never see AA, KK, JJ, or AKs.
I lay down QhQd to a chkraise on a 7s4s3c flop and get shown 8s6s, effective stacks 300 BB. Meh.
The room reminds me of Ceasers in Vegas.

Good points:
Lots of space between tables
Non smoking but with a smoking lounge
Good dealers overall
Staff handled the crowds very well

Bad points:
Freaking cold around 4 am
They are using those stupid large index cards
No games other than HE went off over the weekend
Still no booze

CLIFF NOTES OF SUMMARY:
Good room. Long wait. Going back next weekned.

Next weekend will be much shorter wait, and there may be Omaha going since they may not have to worry about spreading 46 tables just to keep afloat.

Oh yeah. Arvin won the car, huh? I think I recognized him as a regular earlier in the day when he won some smaller drawing. I hope like hell he takes the cash option I heard they had.
