Assuming this is a low buy-in..(anything below $11)..anything higher and i would assume it was a trap.

The pot is at 250 no?? I push this preflop..15% increase in ur stack..

Yuck.

1. Shoving is gross.
2. Raising less than a shove is not great either, as it's going to be a quarter of your stack.
3. Folding is weak, I think, but could be right.
3. Limp along? Borderline, but I think this is the right play. If shorty tries a squeeze you will be getting odds to call. If the table goes nuts you can fold without doing real damage to your stack.

I don't know..I feel like I'm ahead of villains range by quite a bit..plus FE..and potentially a nice increase to my stack..

You don't have enough implied odds to play them for set value. Plus, I'm not sure you want this multi-way..which you'll encourage by limping..

I'm thinking push...

Pushing in a vacuum is bad, you need a PAHUD stats before you fire here. If you’d like to buy some HH’s where I ignored the PAHUD stats I’d be thrilled to sell them to you!

I'll trust that you know what your talking about. However, is calling really the best play? (Assuming no HUD stats)

"What the best action here?"..(I'll make the assumption that the OP isn't leaving out pertinent information on purpose.)

Thanks, but I’m not sure that’s +EV decision.

Folding or shoving is an easy decisions, a single node choice.
Raising, is difficult as I assume on a re-raise you’ll want to lay this down, if you see a flop you’ll have more committed to a bad flop texture than is required.
Calling might be the best choice but you’ll still have to play poker. Against a flop of J high or less you could just shove it and let the gods decide. Mid-pocket pairs suck..
