Super! I think you'll love it. Not only am I using the 6400 right now (with Vista Home Premium), I've got several friends, family members and customers using this laptop and they all love it.

Give us a review after you get it and have used it a little while.

I might as well ask quick in here instead of starting a whole new thread as TxGuy, you seem to really know your stuff.

(Sorry for hijacking paperjam, but this question could be of use to you or anyone else reading this)

TxGuy, if I'm wanting to run 6 tables and Poker Office at the same time, is 1GB enough or should I go for 2??

I don't run anything else while playing poker.

If the difference is a significant amount of money for you then stay at 1 and save for 2. 2 is always better. However, the bottle neck with any sized PT DB is going to be the hard drive not system memory.

minor hijack here ? for LuckyTxGuy: I am currently shopping for a similiarly configured Dell for poker, surfing, DL, maybe a DVD player or CDRW and or both but I don't need really any bells and whistles like 2g RAM AND 160GHD sick video cards etc. more like 1G/20/30GHD have been shopping ebay for refurbs as I was hoping to spend 350/400 on a used maybe 400-550 on a new one if I saw something I really liked

anyways you seem to have the hookup and if you make any commission nice to see it go to a 2+2er if possible

cliff notes: looking for $450-500 priced low frills laptop for 2-3 tabling/surfing/dl, a DVD/CDRW combo would be nice but not a dealbreaker, 14" or up/1GRam/wifi are all must haves

PM me if need be but I will check this thread I am awaiting sale of my 24' Dell monitor and will be putting the funds into a laptop within 1-2 weeks
