So, how many hands do I need to move up from 2/4 NL to 3/6 NL. So far, I have 10k hands under my belt with a 30.44 BB/100 win rate. Any advice?

There's not a certain number before you can move up. If you feel you're ready for it, take a shot. Move up and try it, if you feel like you're not one of the better players at the table, or if you start losing, move back down. I'm assuming your bankroll supports both limits. Oh yeah, your win rate is way high, you're running good, don't get too cocky.

Mostly, it just depends on bankroll, and comfort level.
Obviously, you're pretty comfortable, since you've been running ridiculously hot. If you have about 10K or so, go ahead and take a shot at 3/6. It's basically the same game as 2/4. If you start losing, just drop back down. |
