well, it sounds as if your experience was a bit like mine...pushing solid, but beatable, hands...i decided not to 3 bet those types and save my 3 betting to when i had the nuts or very close too...i would call solid hands though...the nut hands you will get action with, so you can afford to miss a few bets in marginal situations...

You have played correctly and will experience higher varience at 6 max. Get used to it and keep pushing small margins against these people. The flip side is that when its running your way the LAG will loose all his money to you, rebuy and do it again!

Also an important note imho: don't stop valuebetting good hands.
I sometimes get scared with good hands (like two pair) because maniacs can also flop straights/sets/... Like we cap flop and then I just bet/call check/call turn and river, I always feel like I should have the balls to cap every street if he lets me and that I'm missing tons of value [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] |
