go with books first. TTH is a waste. I think there is a demo version, but I wouldn't pay for it.

A program that lets you play against preset opponents. A lot of experience but no financial gain. Like a chessmaster for poker

when playing 5/10 cent games is it posible to bluff people out of a pot? I mean if they were skilled and misread you, you could bluf them out. But other than that all the players that play this limit is beginners. So woulnd't they be calling stations and you would have to have a better hand to win?

[/ QUOTE ]

If you were to never bluff in microstakes poker, you are not hurting your winrate. The only person that you are likely going to fold with a bluff is a solid TAG. The trouble with solid TAGs is that they pay attention. A person who pays attention will see that you are capable of bluffing and it will then become a situation where you have to bluff with the right frequency, which in of itself, is almost impossible to find at microstakes.

Don't do it. I have eliminated it from my arsenal and I have increased my winrate incredibly.

I used to 3 bet bluff on expensive streets against people who I thought could fold to 3 bets on turns and rivers, and it only becomes spewage because, who you thought was a smart TAG, is only a TAG that is playing by wrote and is still only playing first or second level thinking. Most TAGs at microstakes are told that people bluff too much at these levels and will 'value call' with their TP hands when the action 'tells them that they are beat'. Whether it's curiousity, disbelief, 'poor' play or something else, most TAGs are going to call someone who they have seen bluffing even though they may be incorrect in doing so.

That's a semi-bluff. You have no (yeah, well...) reason to believe you don't have the best hand, you often have outs to a strong hand blablub.
