Hung La at Excalibur 1-3NL? Is this possible?
There was a guy who looked like Hung La playing at the Excalibur 1-3NL earlier this week. Is this possible? Would a pro play that small a game? This guy was pretty much destroying the game, by the way. He was levels above everyone else at the table, talentwise.

Of course its possible, maybe he was relaxing with a friend, getting drunk, whatever. Last week I played 15/30 with Doug Lee (he played horribly). He told me his normal game is 100/200 which is not very high at all for someone with his winnings. He commented that he cannot play 15/30 seriously because its not enough money which made me laugh... the top limit I played before my bankroll went bye bye was 1/2... and I played it as seriously as I would a 4/8 game.

Of course it's possible, but that probably wasn't him. The guy you saw also plays 2-5 NL at Venetian. Plays really bad in that game but apparently pwns Excalibur. My normal game in Vegas is 30-60 and 60-120, but It's fun playing the Excalibur/Sahara/IP/whatever games once in a while, especially while drinking heavily!

[/ QUOTE ] Yup, saw him at Bay 101 during Shooting Stars in the 10-200 spread (max 1000) and story was the same. Looked like he'd tripled up and a couple guys I talked to said he was playing well.

That's what I'm saying, it's this guy who looks EXACTLY like him. Don't worry, he's a station. You TOO can crush the Excalibur 1-3 game, just give it a try!
