Default Weird spot vs. huge fish, 5/10

I've been playing with villian for about 100 hands now. He's very fishy; 55/6/1.7. He plays pretty weird, with some random bets here and there that are hard to make sense of. I've seen him slowplay big hands and play very passive overall.

He's got a big stack, mostly from before I got there. One hand, he did flop quads, and got someone to bluff off an entire stack with 4 high (fish called preflop, then check/called every street.)

I've been raising his limps quite a bit, usually cont. betting. I haven't really had anything signifigant against him and most of our pots haven't had any betting beyond the flop.

The turn bet was strange, and I didn't know what to make of it. He can probably have anything here; a big hand like a flush here, or a big club, or a jack, or a full house. Or some pretty weak crap.

Stack sizes were a little akward.. what should I do?

I c fish lead straights here b/c they don't want another club hitting and thats y they were scared to raise flop; he can also have low flush. He can have like j9 or JQ Here, but I still call here and call a blank river... If u raise to 550 planning not to put more $ in, what if he shoves? We'll never know if we're ahead... call here and call a blank river or shove a river that fills u. BTW, IMO, pushing here is spew, even against a fish. More value and not as spewy to jus call.

I hate to generalize, but think about how often huge fish vary their play (almost never). With your read, I think it's crazy to think he has a big hand like a boat/flush here.

It's more likely that he's leading with a bare club or a weak jack. With that said, I think you have to make a raise to about $600-650 to protect your hand and for value.

I think that I agree with this now. Any raise would make the pot size v awkward. A raise of 500 leaves us with a 1650 pot and 700 behind, so raising and planning not to put more money is a better plan if you were deeper. I guess call and decide on the river based on his bet size / timing. You might wanna call down a psb on a blank river though.

Bad villains aren't that tricky to me it looks like he's trying to get a cheap river with the ace of clubs I raise call a shove.

I like a raise on the turn to 500 or so, he'll probably fold but we don't want a club getting there for free. If he pushes I think we're behind unless he has J9 in which he has plenty of outs anyway.

He also may be donking the turn because he's picked up on the fact that you have been cbetting and giving up on the turn (which I assumed from you're description of previous action).

Also congrats on the 3rd place in the Nightly Hundred Grand.
