First Time With Wordpress

This is my first time really working with a WordPress installation and I tried to make a small site built around getting people to sign up for AssociatedContent, a site that pays you for articles you write.

I've got AdSense for Content on the right-hand bar in two places then one bigger one in the middle rolling with the content. There's some random writing-based articles that I pulled from ArticleCity there too. I didn't spend a [censored] of time on this, was more concerned with learning about Wordpress, but yeah... any suggestions/comments/omfg-you-suck-at-lifes?

Looks like a really good start. I would bold your sidebar links so they look more like the google ads.

You're trying to get people signed up via associatedcontent yet you're giving them a ton of other ways to leave your page. Give them as few exit points as possible.

Get rid of all the adsense ads for starters.
