Default MoneyGram Deposit Question

What forms of payments do they accept?
Look around didn't see an answer is it cash only or do they take other forms of payment.

Default Re: MoneyGram Deposit Question

You can even do it online. But I think the more you get away from taking cash directly to an Agent, I would suspect the charges and fees get higher and higher.

You may pay for your Transfer via ACH debit from your Bank Account, or Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard). MoneyGram does not accept American Express or Discover.

You may only charge up to $3,000 per month on your Credit Card.

If you pay via ACH debit from your Bank Account for our Same Day Service option, you will be asked to provide a backup funding source with a Credit Card. If you choose our Economy Service option, you must pay via ACH debit from your bank account. A backup funding source of a Credit Card is not required for Economy Service.

Do not use a Debit Card (Check Card) that is linked to your Bank Account as your back up funding source. If your card says Check, Debit, or ATM on the front, this will duplicate the funds MoneyGram will hold/reserve in the amount of your Transfer --meaning MoneyGram will place a hold on both your Bank Account and your Debit Card for the Transfer amount. The hold on your Debit Card decreases your available line of credit by the amount of your Transfer.
