Man thats nothing!

I was at a home poker game a friend has twice yearly back in November. Some guy that hadn't been before was there and he was every bit of 500 pounds. During a hand he let one rip - and I do mean RIP. It sounded like he [censored] the chair he was in - I was sitting next to him and was the first to catch it. It literally cleared the HOUSE (not the room, the entire f'ing HOUSE) for about 10 minutes. In the midst of hands at 2 tables.

My friend says that dude won't be invited back lol.

On another note - NEVER give an English Bulldog beer during a poker game. Cleared the house on multiple occassions and it was below zero so we froze outside and couldn't open the windows. Honestly the worst smell ever. We don't play at his house anymore...

This is exactly the sort of incredibly useful knowledge that makes me appreciate the internet so much. Seriously! I didn't know an English Bulldog couldn't properly disgest beer and this is something I'd do given the chance. When I was little we had a St. Bernard and I remember my dad give her beer all the time with no ill effects. So St. Bernards can tolerate beer while English Bulldogs cannot. Also FYI, Shih Tzus seem to be able to tolerate at least small amounts of Hornsby cider but it makes them sneeze.

Thanks!!

Edit: Right as I clicked submit, it dawned on me, isn't one of the dogs in that picture where dogs are playing poker a bulldog of some kind? And they're smoking AND drinking! How stupid that painting is, now knowing what we've learned here today. Should have a warning on the back or something.
