Choose your justice system
I was watching the news a while back where someone was convicted of a murder charge. It got me thinking how accurate our(US) justice system is. I also realized there is almost no way good way to test its accuracy. But lets assume for a bit we could tell the accuacy, and lets assume that it is for only serious violent felonies (murders, rapes, muggings, armed roberies, arsons and such). I think white collar crimes and conspiricies would make it to complicated for this discussion.
Which justice system would you choose? These number are just generalize guesses by me as to what the correct convection rates would be of we had to convict x% of all report violent felonies (and could be very wrong).

The word is conviction. I'd usually let it slide, but looking at it like 10000x is painful.

I think the number one goal of any justice system should be to minimize the number of innocent people going to jail. Obviously this must be balanced, because no justice system= 0 innocents going to jail, but thats obviously not the best answer.
I think this poll is impossible to answer correctly.
