I suck at playing AK please help...

Villain is pretty tight I know I played this REALLY BADLY - please advise as to what I should have done on each street. I know I should have checked the turn - what would you have done if villain had then bet the turn?

I can't see how you can check call here..

- Your options are bet the flop.
- Check fold.

Your ace high isn't going to be good most of the time, there is no sense calling here. You have no draws; your only hope is to hit one of your overs; and even then there is no certainty that you have the best hand.

Betting the flop would be heavily based on how I have seen the player play. If this re-raise was un-characteristic of him, I would be really weary of betting the flop.

I fold to the 3 bet pre flop. If he is tight like you say then he's telling you he has AA or KK, you're also out of position and that makes AK hard to play especially when the flop misses you. If I did play it to the flop I check fold. There's better spots to make your money.
