1/3, 6 handed home game...pf with KQ
Hey...how is this raise PF...
6 handed, everyone has basically even stacks... I'm in the small blind, there are everyone but the button class the blind....i make it it 15 to go with QK off suit, hoping to just pick up the blinds. everyone called... did i just pick a bad spot, not raise enough...or just make a [censored] play? |

Re: 1/3, 6 handed home game...pf with KQ
I'm guessing that everyone is a loose passive fish since it's more likely a social home game, right? I'd rather limp behind and try and hit a monster than play in a big pot with a marginal hand OOP.

Re: 1/3, 6 handed home game...pf with KQ
so is this 'steal' only worthwhile with a premo hand...in which case its not a steal? would a true steal be a larger raise?
also, FWIW, this was a raked home game..so not really a home game i guess. play was LAGGY |

stack sizes?
depending on this and how many callers you expect (your raise should be a little bigger, too) this can be either good or bad |

why are you only hoping to steal blinds with KQ 6 handed?! this is really bad logic, for so many reasons

[/ QUOTE ] In this spot, I raise the premium hands for value and occasionally steal with absolute rags. With playable-to-marginal hands OOP I prefer to see a flop, hit a hand and win big. |
