Default Paralegal position asking for salary reqirement

I will be graduating this June with a B.S. in business admin, concentrations in accounting and law. I have decided that I would like to work as a paralegal for 1-2 years before committing myself to lawschool. This one firm that I am very interested in is asking for salary requirements. I have never been asked to do this before so I am not quite sure what to do. Do I include this in my resume, create a whole new document? Also, I am not sure what amount I should be asking for. Is there anyway to figure out what number I should be requesting? Thanks

Paralegal Salaries

Also, do not put it in your resume. I'd include it in your cover letter, or call your contact and tell them informally over the phone.

I wouldn't put it in anything. Wait till you get an interview/offer and then discuss it.

By the way, law schools by and large aren't impressed with paralegal work... you'd be better off joining the peace corps.

I will generally list salary requirements as negotiable. Certainly do not put it into your resume. I would probably avoid putting it in your CL as well - preferably talk to them about it.

It's between doing some type of legal work or accounting, and I find legal to be much more enjoyable. I'm not doing this to impress law admissions, as I know they really don't care.

I mean it could be a negative because so many paralegals apply. Schools like "diversity."
