Actually the problem seems to be Phil. DI has repeatedly and grossly overrated him this season.

IMO, Phil and Lakisha were probably close in the top 6 week 1 and then Lakisha's superior performance pushed her past Phil in top 6 week 2. It is possible that Lakisha was in fact B2 (but not far from Phil) in the first week but was able to make up for it in week 2. I think Simon kissing her also brought some extra attention.

DI is being sent false packets of information this year, which is the reason it's way off. I told the owner this and he probably has no clue how to fix it. It's not at all hard into tricking the software that you got a busy signal and/or you didn't.

This is why you see Melinda towards the bottom sometimes (when in reality she is ALWAYS top 2) and Lakisha way below when in actuality she may not even be bottom 3 that week.

How do you know "in reality" that Melinda is always top 2?

I don't think anyone knows for sure, except for the producers. The one fact we do know? Melinda and Jordin are the only contestants who have never been B3.

She never has been B3. DI has had her there but DI always has her lower than she actually is.
