Default ($12) Go broke with TPGK ?

Stack sizes:

SB: t1255
BB: t1310

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is MP3 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
4 folds, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to t150</font>, CO folds, Button calls t150 <font color="aaaaaa">(pot was t225)</font>, SB calls t125 <font color="aaaaaa">(pot was t375)</font>, BB folds.

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (t500, 3 players)
SB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets t250</font>, Button calls t250 <font color="aaaaaa">(pot was t750)</font>, SB folds.

Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (t1000, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero is all-in t1260</font>.

The villain seemes a little bit lost. Is my line too aggro? Check the turn for pot control reasons? What to do then if he shoves? Call or fold?

I don't like this, but I'm not sure if I can articulate just exactly why right this second. . . .

Could be because a fold pf might be best

I fold pf. As played, I don't like the turn shove for reasons malnek stated.

I have no prob with the raise preflop ,no prob with the bet on the flop but i don t like the all in on the turn .It s a dry board and u either way ahead or way behind and u can t expect to be called by a worse hand often enough to justify pushing here and certainly no chance of making a better hand fold.If u r willing to go all the way here then u should find another way than all in to try to extract maximum value for ur hand.

I think the preflop raise is fine but a limp is OK too. I would bet more on the flop and check the turn as played and probably fold to a shove.

I play the early streets the same way but bet 300 on the turn and probably call if he pushes. If he just calls the 300 I would probably check/call the river.

Are people really open folding AJ from the HJ nowadays?

i really don't like a limp. sometimes i raise, sometimes i fold, depends on the dynamics of the table. as played, maybe bet 500 on the turn? I think 300 is waaaay too small and if we do that i think we're definitely getting pushed over. we're not supposed to be the ones making tough decisions - they are.

I C/R all-in on turn -- by then villain would be too committed with a weaker Ace. If we're beat we're beat.
