Default $5.50 PS - fold KJ on BB to min raise?

I didn't feel real good about this fold. Did it make any sense? (spoiler comments in white below)

I ended up surviving the next round and winning the whole tourney. I'm fairly certain I would have gone out on this hand had I called. Still, should I feel good about this fold??

looks like an ok fold. a call is horrible and a push is about the same as calling an allin or two.

There is no way that they are folding with your stacksize and your chances of beating them both in the same pot is unlikely, so good fold.

Hope you pick up a hand quick though

That's a good fold. When the big blind is at 100 and someone raises to 300 it isn't a min raise, its a raise of 3xBB.

Is it still a fold here if the button doesn't call?

Yeah calling is horrible and it's highly unlikely they're folding to your push, so good lay down.

I'm curious about whether it's a fold still if button doesn't call as well. It depends on reads, but I'd take a guess and say that UTG is probably 99+, AJ+ which would lead me to think that it should still be a fold. What do you guys think?

Yea I'm pretty sure UTG will have you dominated in most spots. When you're hoping he has AQ you're in trouble

oh duh. thanks. apparently I didn't read my own post well enough.

I'm not so sure it's an easy fold with no caller though. As far down as I am, I'm thinking I'm not unhappy to play KJ against A2-AT, AQ, all of which are possible hands for the raiser here. Of course, he could also easily have AK, AA,KK, or KQ, which would suck, and probably some possibility of K9-KT, which would be awesome.

I know that's not an optimal range for a raiser in this position, but if I remember correctly, the guy wasn't exactly a great player.

In this situation, that sounds good enough to me.

I'd rather push ATC the next time I'm allowed to open the pot than push that hand in this spot. Good fold, imho.
