Re: 24 thread 4/30

[ QUOTE ] maybe there is hope for next season... 24 getting panned [/ QUOTE ] According to the portions quoted in another post, that articl does not mention any planned changes, but merely notes that the show is being criticized and doing worse in the ratings. None of that amounts to reason for hope. [/ QUOTE ] But the producers also acknowledged that their writing has been haphazard. The biggest change they need to make is something they probably will never make: scrap the 1 season equals 1 day concept. It's played out and unrealistic. (E.g., Morris is tortured, but back to work in an hour; the President goes from being in a coma to running the country in a few hours; people travel anywhere in LA in 20 minutes; Jack can break into prison, break out of prison, go to Mexico, and come back to LA within 12 hours). If they really want to keep the real-time aspect, they can just do a series of 4 to 6 hour scenarios that are unrelated. (They are doing short scenarios now but are connecting them no matter stupid connecting them is.) |

Also, was this episode in HD for everyone? The SF affiliate only showed the first 12 minutes in HD before switching to SD. [/ QUOTE ] The HD was crapping out in NY, so i switched to SD myself. |

Re: 24 thread 4/30
WORST EPISODE EVER.
What the [censored] happened to my favorite show? The only positive is that the dude that plays Lennox kicks ass at facial expressions/head movements. Please kill Mrs. Ed now. |
