Correct?
I have been playing some low entry fee, big field tournaments. This situation occurred last night on a $10 buy-in. Started with 1150 players. When this hand came up, there were 40 players left -- everyone in the money, but the "money" is still very low.
Blinds = 2000/1000, with 200 ante. I have 27,000chips and am on the button. Folded to the player to my immediate right who is short-stacked with 16,500 chips. He pushes. I have JJ --- I push so I can isolate and try to keep the big blind out of the hand since he has 50,000 chips. Correct? |

Re: Correct?
Second question -- Despite my reraise, the Big Blind called the two all-ins with AKsuited.
Correct? As you can guess, I am trying to understand these situations so I can separate crappy play from crappy luck so any observations are appreciated. |

Re: Correct?
Somewhat read-related but I'm more likely to than not in BB's shoes.

Re: Correct?
I would call with AK in his position. I think he has you on a range of 99-QQ and AQ which would be a good call.
I don't think you can fault either of your plays. |
