3/5 live KK called on flop
3/5 live RedRock in Vegas
Fairly live game with several donks calling early raises. villain 500 seemingly solid regular younger player Hero 1000 Hero raises early $25 with KK Villain calls and 3 others call. Pot 125 Flop 8h 2h 5s Hero bets 110 Villain (next) thinks and smooth calls which leaves him ----with 365 left. (others all fold) Pot = 345 Turn is 3d Hero?? Note: I really did not think that this particular player would call off his stack with QQ or JJ. |

Re: 3/5 live KK called on flop
I think you can push this simply because do you think he would flat call with AA/88/55/22 with the flush draw out there?
Since you posted this hand ill guess that he had Ah4h or AA but I think you can push this due to the pf/flop action. |

Re: 3/5 live KK called on flop
i could not imagine a "thinking" player --which he was--smooth calling with a set OR AA which left me with AQhh or others FD similar.

Re: 3/5 live KK called on flop
Turn is blank, there are a ton of draws / worse hands that he can have. Just push it in and hope he calls with something silly.

Re: 3/5 live KK called on flop
Pretty standard spot for a slowplay, by villain.
I still shove anyway, and hope for the best. |

Re: 3/5 live KK called on flop
RESULTS
i shoved and villain had middle set. I had thoughts that i might could check the turn as if opponent had flush draw i am sure he would check / he would not check a set again, and wouldnt check AA again. If he bet the turn hard after i checked, i doubt KK would have much value against this villain, although he would most likely push then with spot on QQ. These live 3/5 villains just dont push with medium overpairs like you see online everyday. Tuff spot. |
