I'm popping to this at least 400 PF, want to take it down now.

I raise flop, fold to a reraise.

We can't make a decent raise and fold here, our chip stack is too short.

Hero raised to 750, Villain called. What's hero's turn play?

If you're gonna raise with 99 you can't be afraid of that flop. Lead out for 2/3 the pot or check with the intention of check raising all in.

If you're gonna raise to 750 just put it all in since you'll be pot committed and it negates the chance that you're bluffed out later. At this point either you feel you have the best hand or you don't. If you're not sure then fold, if you think you're ahead most of the time raise all in.

I would probably play every street differently than you.
I would make a bigger raise preflop or complete.
I would bet this flop.
If I checked, I would call his bet. What is the point of raising this flop? If you say to see where you are, this is wrong for so many reasons. You are turning a medium stength hand into a bluff and worse hands (draws) will shove over your c/r.
