Default Elky\'s range? NLTRN

Playing Elky in a $550 Turbo hu.

As usual he is playing about 12 tables, I am playing just one.

Half way through level 2 I have him 2200 - 800.

I make it 90 to play, he shoves.

Do you call with any of Ac6s or 4h4c or KsQs?

Or pass all the above?

Hmm, you don't have any read? I muck A6 and usually also 44. With KQs i call fairly often.

I imagine you could just grind him down right? If that is the case (he has to play tight right?) i would muck all 3 at these stack sizes.

Depends on the flow of the game and how much you've been raising and he's been 3-betting. In a vacuum, I call with the KQ. My reasoning is that with 44 I'm almost always 50/50 or 20/80 and A6 is dominated by a better ace. But, since you have a K/Q, its less likely for him to have one, so you're probably not dominated by AK/AQ. Plus, you're in a coin flip with all of his 66-JJ hands. Elky pushes with such a wide range in these spots. You could easily be dominating him with the KQ.

Did I contradict myself? Am I ASPX? How far is my thought process?

Everyone,
The question is Elky's RANGE. I also instinctively call with KQ, and fold the others. Ok now what? 10 people saying it doesn't make it correct.

Anyone who has played Elky, please post a range estimate so we can combine them and optimize our strategy! I'd say its the Pokerstove top 25-30, skewed a little toward the smaller connectors and obviously adjusted for in-game hand to hand dynamics.

Here's an example:55+,A3s+,K8s+,Q8s+,J8s+,T8s+,96s+,85s+,75s +,64s+,A7o+,KTo+,Q9o+,JTo,98o

Camel,
Agree / disagree on 25-30? Does it vary significantly as stacks go from 30 to 13bb?

Hehe, i don't know if that was targetted against me?

I agree with most parts. You only contradict yourself when you say that KQ blocks AQ and AK, but that we are often dominated with A6. If you have a solid point about blocking, then it should also be valid for A6.

You should rather say that when we hold A6 villain has us dominated more often than we have him, and when we have him dominated, a split is likely if it's the A we share with villain. With KQ, we dominate him just as often as he dominates us.

Elky seems to play terrible when he plays so many tables of HU, I muck all those hand because you def have the edge and beat him badly in the long run if you dont take those small egde gambles in my opinion.
