i previously had no concept of the guy's music, i had only heard the name in mainstream media as a big up-and-coming singer. but this guy live on american idol was possibly the biggest joke of a live "professional" performance that i have ever seen. just horrible.

They're doing a bunch of stops with LCD Soundsystem in the US, checkout either the LCD Soundsystem or the DFA myspace page (dont remember where it's listed).

Allllllso, if anyone missed it there's a Franz Ferdinand remix of All My Friends that's off the upcoming All My Friends single.

The new Dinosaur Jr. album is awesome and came out of nowhere. For anyone that likes old Sonic Youth, Pixies, or of course Dinosaur Jr. this is a flashback straight to 1988. I've listened to it three times already today.

Great call on LCD Soundsystem. I didn't like their first CD much and even went to a couple shows casually late to miss them open a couple years ago but the new CD is great.

I've been listening a lot to the new Blonde Redhead CD.
