I like calling the first raise and leading a non heart turn to deny the free card that I think he's wanting.

[/ QUOTE ]I like this a lot more than that 3-bet/fold spew.

I would just c/c the whole way. I think you would have been three-bet pf more often than not with a better hand.

wow i don't like this at all

just call down from the raise if you're that worried

[/ QUOTE ]
Yep, after the flop raise all I'm doing is c/c from that point. Way too clever here.

You need to be more aggressive than that paxo.

A lot of the time I'll 3bet flop and lead the turn, you need to bet safe turns though or you're just going to get destroyed by free cards all day.

This would be the perfect oppertunity to really analyze the the player at the CO. Generally only 3 players or so at the table will raise a draw especially to a cap. If you have seen the player raise a draw at a point before then you may have to call and see if they check behind.

Remember most players who would cap there on a draw would be doing so to get the free card... and a turn bet would be rare in that situation by the CO.

The A10 is not particularly strong to even 1 or 2 bets so I think your fold is safe, even if the CO is on the draw, other players are not far behind and your equity is low. Good fold.

without any reads, i probably go into c/c mode here after the first raise, then make a note what he shows.

[/ QUOTE ]

Without a read you should definitely be leading safe turn cards.

I like calling the first raise and leading a non heart turn to deny the free card that I think he's wanting. I think AQ is more likely to 3 bet pf than cold call so I give him less credit for that.

[/ QUOTE ]That is exactly what I would do.
