Vista- IdleMiner problems

Anyone know how to run IdleMiner on windows Vista? It just closes down when i click start. I emailed IdleMiner guy and he said run it in administrator and in windows Xp compatability mode. There is no option to run as admin and i don't know how to do the later. Any one help?

Ok, I just downloaded the trial to try it out and found the same problem. Here is how you get it to work:-

Find the idle miner .exe file, by default this is in C:\Program Files\IdleMiner\IdleMiner

- Right click on idleminer.exe
- Select properties from the pop up
- Click on the compatibility tab
- Check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select Windows Xp service pack 2 from the list.
- Check the box "Run this program as an administrator"
- Press OK

you are all set!

i tried this and it hasnt worked.. idle miner doesnt open any tables up, all it does is simply put party poker in the upper left of my screen, then i believe it begins laughing at me, though i may be hearing things.. any help?
