I read somewhere (I tihnk MAXIM) that most US coins have their weight off center. The "heads" side weighs slightly more then tails do to the bust of the presidents head that is on the coin. hence, if you just flip and catch, you will get slightly more "tails" results since the heads side weighs more and is more likely to face down.......

now that i typed that I'm not sure this makes sense..... my mind is also still blown over the cocain thread where coke was eaiser to get then a fake ID.

Two years ago my older brother got in on a super bowl prop bet online where so many people had bet the coin flip heads that tails was +105. He bet and won a grand.
