anyone play them?

can you give me an idea how many players enter the fri and or sat? (1k buy in)

also; i see they've got satellites the morning of...any idea how deep those are?

How deep? Not sure what you mean. They are single table tournaments that pay out 2 seats (10 players). Have not played these though. I sweated one the other day while I was waiting for the $500 on Sunday. Pretty weak.

Here's the skinny:

- The actual tournament begins at 5 p.m. EVERY DAY. $1060 to enter. Start with 5000 chips. Blinds begin at 25-50 and go up every 45 minutes. Anywhere from 50-150 will play.

- The single-table satellites are $200+20. You start with 1500 chips, blinds start at 25-50 and go up every 15 minutes. They play like Stars' Turbo SNGs, for the most part. MAKE SURE you play in one that begins BEFORE 2 p.m., because when it gets close to the beginning of the tournament, sometimes they REDUCE the blind levels to 8 minutes. Double yuck.

I think the rest of the week is $530 at 2 pm(?). I won a seat to one through a $130 satellite, you get $30 back if you win. Got cold-decked in the tourney, baby house beaten by bigger house, but it was still lots of fun. I think we had 3k chips to start.
