Default $5.50 PS - slowplay KK on this flop?

anything terribly wrong about the minraise from this position? Table has been fairly passive, and my image is really tight. I'm thinking I'm not afraid of playing against two callers. Also, I'd love to induce a raise from the blinds.

Sure, I'm taking a risk on letting the heart draw in after the flop, but I have to make some $ somewhere in this tourney, and villan seems to have little to no clue.

If I lose this hand, is that just crappy luck, or did I really screw something up?

GAH! you need to raise more preflop, you can easily stack off with your hand by putting more money into this multi way pot. raise it to 400 preflop and bet more on the flop.

In a multi way pot there is no reason to "slow play", bc effectively all it does is give up the value of your hand and let people do things correctly when you could just take their moniez.

bet more on the preflop and on the flop, ideally you do only want one caller, and you want them to committ more chips than 200 with your premium hands before the flop, and youre letting draws stick around too easily only betting 200 on the flop

I hear you both, and I understand this line. Thing is, I've been getting folds all around to 300 and 400 chip raises. from MP with two small stacks in the blinds, I'm really trying to encourage action here.

Is the play on the turn alright, regardless of the earlier bets?

Turn play is instacall. Maybe u got beat, but don't fold overpairs this late in tourneys to non-scare cards like that. Your whole plan was to slowplay KK to get more money. If that's the case why would you even consider folding to a non-threatening card. Even if he has 2 pair you have outs.

I understand what you're saying about raises, but if the blinds have a raising hand you will get raised whether you bet 200, 300 or 400. Another reason to raise a little more is if you min raise and the guy just calls with 55 or something and the flop comes high, he may realize he's beat and fold and only lose 200.

Raising more also makes posflop play super easy. If you raised to 350 or 400 the pot is big and if they hit any piece of the flop they're probably stacked. Also it makes it super easy for you to call.

I think you raise more pre-flop and flop, and if your complaint is that they are folding to your raises...guess what, it is time to play more loose...raise more often if first in, and steal some pots. Nothing wrong with playing contrarian.

Taking advantage of oppenents' mistakes is the name of the game. By not raising more, you are allowing them to play closer to correct....don't let them do that...make them pay for the hand, and again...play the table, not just the individual situation.

The minraise preflop sucks, the flop bet sucks, this is bad, prepare to lose to garbage

So what.... min raise is just weak.
At the very least please raise to 250
