I usually get it in preflop. I think calling the flop and calling turn is vastly superior to shoving flop. I expect you to be good here like 90%+ of the time.

this makes no sense.

If hes gonna bluff rarely, but we're gonna pay him off always, then calling is obv higher ev than getting it in on flop.
Because almost never bluffing, is still a higher chance than always paying off.

You are wrong if we replace 'almost never' with 'never' which is fine for this example IMO. If we are behind, we go broke, always. A hand that beats us is always going to push flop. So, we might as well avoid also going broke when he makes an unlikely suckout or actually has a reasonable draw.

We have to weigh the value of giving him the opportunity to bet/bluff with worse hands which is tiny or zero, against the cost of letting him draw to however many outs he has (most likely 2 or 3 but possibly 5 or more) which is not as tiny in my estimation.

Calling flop seems better than shoving flop.

Even if we know that he is not going to bet/bluff with worse hands on turn, then we should call flop and safely fold the turn if he bets. This saves us money. The times he sucks out on us with his 5-outer on turn are less frequent than the times we shove flop and ran into a better hand.

If we don't know that he almost never bluffs or value bets worse hands on turn just call flop and call turn.

don't fold.

getting it in preflop id pretty standard, but if you get to a flop both calling and shoving are fine imo.

Kristian, I disagree that how often he bluffs is "tiny or zero"

I agree that if we still hope to get away from the hand, calling has merits. Not a fan, though.

what, why would we try to get away. We call to give him some rope since he can't bluff call.

I don't see him bluffing here. That is the cornerstone of my line here. If he bets with worse hands, of course calling is best.
