FT $10; set on turn; how badly did I play this?

Take it away; tell me everything I did wrong. Specifically, here are four questions:

1. Pre-flop ok?

2. How do I handle the micro-bet on the flop? I see villains do this relatively frequently, where they minimum-bet into a large pot. I never know whether it represents strength, and this is their strange way of value betting, or whether it represents total weakness. Do I come over the top here?

3. What do I do on turn?

4. What do I do on river? (His river bet sets me all in.)

A preflop raise w/66 from EP is not great because you're building a pot with a difficult hand to play out of position post flop. A limp is better.

I wouldn't come over the top of his flop bet. It gets called or re-raised too often. It becomes a tougher call without the 6d in your hand. Due to stack sizes you should fold because if the 6d hits it's very hard to get away from your set, and he won't get it in with less than a flush, which leads to...

The turn: If you bet, you're committing yourself to the pot, but I think you have to bet here.

You're priced in to call the river due to the frequency that hero could be making a bluff or a "value" shove with a weaker hand.

Fold or limp pre-flop, 66 is very hard to play post flop OOP unless you hit.

The flop is really bad for you, because you don't have the 6d, this means if your hand improves it's 50% that three diamonds are on the board. It's one of those hands that you when you improve, the other person improves even more.

Reads are very very important, because his bets do nothing to prevent the diamond draw. Is it because he doesn't know how to play, or because he is on the diamond draw.

By calling the turn, you're almost obligated to call the river. The river didn't likley help him. It could be he has the A without a mid kicker and was betting scared, or slow played a monster. I wouldn't be shocked to see AdTd or something here, but I'd call the river if the other streets played out this way.

2) this usually is weakness but sometimes it is meant to induce a bluff. It would take major stones to shove here with third pair. Calling to see what happens next is fine.

As far as the pf raise, for me it depends on the table dynamics,raising if its been weak and limping if its been tougher.
For the rest of the action, it really does depend on reads and his skill level. On an average for a $10 tourney, on the flop, with two checks ahead of him, I can see him betting A10+ for the min to try to keep someone around, or middle pair to get info. To me, his turn bet feels like self defense. He min bets, then bets half the pot, maybe with an A and one diamond, or maybe with middle pair bluffing the diamond. On the turn I'm torn between leading out and check raising, and you could argue either way. Either way, I'd say all in on the turn or river. Definitely call the river as you are committed as stated above. You're playing for first, and you've got a set in a situation where it doesn't seem like he's playing a flush.
