Re: For bettor or worse, Tony keeps gambling
I now Hesh is a Jew, but still. He's not going to disparage Tony for "only" have $6M in cash after subtracting assets.

Re: For bettor or worse, Tony keeps gambling
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] He told his son he thought he was worth about 6, sans assets. [/ QUOTE ] No way Tony even has to ask for a loan if he has 6 mil liquid. 6 means 600k. By the way, I seem to remember way back in Season 1 or so that Dr. Melfi was actually hot. What a trainwreck she's become. [/ QUOTE ] I thought different to both of these as I thought he was referring to 0's, therefore less than a mill. $600k would seem about right though |

Re: For bettor or worse, Tony keeps gambling
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] Also, for the Tony killed Renata conspiracy theory: Is there any parallel here between dead girlfriend in bed, severed horse's head in bed? I'm not much of a Godfather expert so I don't know if that analogy has any validity. [/ QUOTE ] there's no chance, in my mind, the family had anything to do with her death, as i said before. tony or someone getting into heches' home to poison her? come on. and i assumed 6 million, as well. he's a five families boss, after all. [/ QUOTE ] He is not a five families boss. Those are Bonanno, Colombo, Genovese, Gambino and Lucchese. The Lupertazzi family from the Sopranos probably represents one of these, but they are all New York so Tony's family is definitely not meant to be one. |

Re: Sopranos 4/29
[ QUOTE ]
Does anyone know the song playing when Tony left Hesh's place at the end? I'm pretty sure it's Howlin Wolf, but not positive, and definately don't know which song. [/ QUOTE ] When the credits ran it was "(I Don't Want to Go to) Chelsea" by Elvis Costello. Not sure if that is the one you mean though. He does not sound much like Howlin Wolf, IMO. KJS |

Re: For bettor or worse, Tony keeps gambling
The numbers used in the sopranos have a tendency not to make complete sense. The only point of that conversation was that Tony might be having financial issues. Debating over it like this is retarded.

Renata had a stroke
from the HBO episode update, http://www.hbo.com/sopranos/episode/index.shtml
"When Hesh goes to rouse Renata for breakfast, he finds her dead in bed - a stroke." So our speculation (including mine) that Tony killed her (or commissioned it) is inaccurate... |

Re: Renata had a stroke
The problem with this discussion is that neither 600k nor 6 mil really make a lot of sense.
