"Common People" - William Shatner (don't snicker, this is actually a pretty good CD if you haven't heard it)

As in, a cover version of the Pulp song? I try and keep an open mind on these things, but just the idea of this sounds awful.

It's actually a really good song. Shatner does his traditional "singing but it's actually talking" thing, while the the heavy duty singing is handled by Joe Jackson (not Michael's dad; the guy who did "Stepping Out", "Is She Really Going Out With Him, "Got the Time", etc.).

Lil Wayne, Drought 3 Mixtape, "Crazy" among others. There are so many great one-liners that sometimes when I listen to this CD, it goes 1,1,2,2,3,4,4,5,5, etc. listening to each twice before moving on to the next.

"Mutron Angel" from the Idlewild Soundtrack. This song is simply awesome. Not a rap song, not by Outkast, just some woman singing.

John Legend "Ordinary People"

Sick Puppies "All the Same"

Justin Timberlake "Futuresex/Lovesounds".

Yes. The Shatner album was produced by Ben Folds, with lots of guest contributions (Joe Jackson, Henry Rollins, Aimee Mann). Its actually really good and poignant.

When I was a teenager Dirt by Alice in Chains came out, and I remember playing it the first time until "Rooster" came on, then putting that song on repeat for at least an hour. I don't know that I'd do the same thing today, as I'm not nearly as angst ridden. Damn good song though.

More recently, I'll say Even Rats by The Slip.
