Mike Wattel-Former Drunk/Alcoholic?

I remember hearing around the 2003 or 2004 WSOP Main Event on a player who had a ton of chips at the end of the first day, then blew them all on the second day. Was said to be drinking a lot, and making crazy plays. Was this Mike Wattel or someone else?

That's nothing. He was the chip leader at a final table about 15 years ago and was so drunk he did something stupid and got kicked out of the casino with like 5 people left. I think it was at the bike.

my buddy Country was going to rent a car and drive out to LV as soon as he heard Mike was leading the WSOP hoping to get money he had lent to him but he busted out before he could arrange the rental
