Default Missing value on turn while slowplaying?!

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1045030

Do I lightbet (halfpot) here the turn to get more value out of drawing hands like QJ or Ad or is slowplaying better? (the rivercard could be better for me)

Im def betting 8 or so on the turn to build the pot w/ our greatly improved hand. Then if a D falls on the river we got a shot at a much bigger pot.

I would definitely lead the turn. The only hand you can really expect to bet there is slowplayed flopped flushes (which you're probably stacking a lot of the time regardless) or Tx hands that you dominate. A lot of people are peeling in that spot with QJ or high diamond draws, and those hands will still pay to draw (while drawing dead) but won't bet themselves. I'd rather go for a check-raise on the river, for three reasons:
- Tx will still probably value bet
- Whiffed high diamonds might bluff
- QJ got there
