i emailed them back a few times, first to ask them to send it to my FL address, then to tell them to just credit it back to my account. I got the standard reply that it will be forwarded to the proper dept (yeah, like they have "departments" on many floors, department=guy in the next cubicle). Anyway after not hearing back for 2 days I emailed them again and was told the department is closed for the weekend but will be in touch with me early this week. Lame.

I withdrew via check on FTP about a week ago. They emailed me saying that because I lived in NY, they needed my phone number to send me the check. I had withdrawn about 3 weeks prior without an issue.

This is an assumption, but I'd guess FTP and Pokerstars use(d?) the same processor and now FTP is using someone different, at least for NY.

Default Thr real story

Their third party processor ran into a problem with Citizens Bank in NY not honoring/reversing checks. My information is that all the issued checks were eventually honored, but the processor was spooked. So, they, the processor, is taking a hiatus from New york, where the errant Citizens bank branches were located.
