Default River bet with TPGK?

Villain had raised me a few times before after I raised him preflop. He seemed pretty loose. Was the river bet okay? Given the player, I felt like I had the best hand...he could have had an ace with any kicker. Preflop play in no way suggested AK or AQ.

You beat A2, A8, A9, AT and lose to just about every other "reasonable" hand. I think this is a check behind.

villian might have raised theflop with a flush draw, but other than that theres really not much he raises this flop with anything we beat IMO.any str8 draw came in, and as already stated by previuos poster, not many other smaller aces. i think this is an easy check/pray situation.

This bet is read dependent.
He sounds pretty aggressive and probly would have continued to bet or raise if he had 2 pair or better. Im with the poster I think AQ and AK are unlikely.
The check behind is the safe way out. I would go for a B/F maybe B/C depending on my gut.

Bet, he wants to call, and he'll call with a lot less than an Ace.

I know a few players that never raise AQ, AK because they are drawing hands, but then I'm already worried when I get 3 bet on the flop. In this case, the villians problem is he plays too many hands and calls too much, you have to give him some rope.

I think it dependens would he only play the flop with Ax? Then I would c/c or could it also be a poket pair or he hit 1 of the ofther cards on the board than I bet out the river.

If the river paired the board this would be such an easy value bet.

If villain has two pair he's raising this turn, and if he had you beat preflop you'd have known.

As it stands, I don't know man, I think it's a little thin, mostly because you'll get checkraised by A3 and A5 just as often as you'll get checkcalled by A8 and A9.

I think I'd check behind, after 3 folds you'll see A8 and A9 open for two bets a lot more than they'll open limp.

Am I only the sane one here? Can some other small stakes regulars come in and quote my post because this is an obvious value bet?
