Default Question about Dell 3007WFPs

I read that you need dual-link DVI ports and a video card that can handle the large resolution to use these monitors. I currently have a GeForce 7900GT (Asus manufactured the board, if that matters). I looked up the specs, and it says the resolution it can handle is less than the 3007WFP. Would this card still work, or if not, what kind of card would one need to handle those monitors? Thanks.

No, no. I don't know that it doesn't work. I'm just asking if other people know if it would work or not. One issue is whether or not it's dual-link, but if yours is, then I'm hoping mine is as well. Also, the other issue is the maximum resolution the card can support.

I don't have the exact link anymore, and I must have tossed out the box, but I'm pretty sure this is the one.
http://www.hothardware.com/articles/...e%5F7900%5FGT/

It says it can support up to 2048x1536 at 85Hz, but I didn't know if that implied that it could not support higher resolutions, or if it could support higher resolutions, but at slower refresh rates. I figured it's a relatively new card (ok, not new to crazy gamers, but it's not ancient), and it seemed weird to me that it wouldn't support something like the Dell 3007WFP. I mean, if that won't support it, then WTF kind of card do I need?

BTW, thanks for all of the help guys. I appreciate it.
