I feel like i'm bleeding money in a million small pots. Villian here is your typical cake shortstack donkey. How and why do you play every street?

Re: 100NL: weak flush draw in unraised pot
I make money vs shortstacked donkeys all day long.
ill give them no credit. The flop most likely "hit him" J8o, A7, T7o etc. I dont thing i have much fold equity and my betsize wont matter to him (either he likes his hand and cant fold or vv) so ill bet small. 1,75-2,00$. Same on turn. Thats a great card. Bet and bet small again, you have fold equity ("ahh man! he bets again, he must have something) and you get to set the price. funny thing ill probably check river if a diamond came and bet it(very small)if it was a brick (765432) Dont hate shortstacked donkey - its $. |

do you find that small river bets get folds from these type of players? i can't see a shortie folding any piece for a small river bet.

[/ QUOTE ] I feel like more often that not if he called you with a weak piece on the flop and turn he's gonna just go ahead and call you down on the river. Judgement call for you on the river depending on how big of a calling station you think he really is, a lot of bad players will call these small bets with the sole intention of trying to snap off 2p or trips, and give up if they don't. TBH I almost surely check this river too I think you're definitely getting called more times than not if he's been calling you down with a weak piece of the flop |
