You are right, the position of the stacks really are not set up that great for bubble pwning

[/ QUOTE ]
What do you mean by this?

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry, I was a little tiered when I wrote this. Have no idea what I was thinking, but looking at it now this situation actually is very nice for dominating the bubble.

Ih8money is one of the best players in the 27's.

If this was someone else, I'd be more apt to call, but I don't think he is going to risk bubbling with 15 bb's with hands like KQ, etc. AQ, probably. AJ? I don't know. I think he has a pocket pair and just doesn't want to get screwed with. And coinflip'ing here would be horrible in my view. It's easy to just fold, and continue on to the next hand with a big chip lead on the bubble. When I call and lose to TT and now have 2000 chips I'd feel pretty dumb.

What do you guys think?

[/ QUOTE ]

I disagree with your read, Ih8money can be extremely wide in his range of pushing.
I think this is an instacall

Pudge if you are going to quote me to make pointless one sentence responses since you are a bitter hater, at least quote my whole sentence. I never said ih8money is the best player in the 27's. I am obviously.

[/ QUOTE ]
I was implying folding here makes it very unlikely you are the best player at the 27s.

Spot on here - this guy loves pushing ace-rag, even when the blinds are fairly low. Easy call.

Oh I guess alot of other guys 9-table the 27's with 18% roi. Pudge, BigJoe doesn't think it is a very bad fold. But you are probably better than him.

I don't mind a fold but it depends on a few things that you didn't mention in the OP.

Pudge is correct so get off his case. Unless Ih8money has some weird nitty range than folding is not fine. Everything that you have said, especially the part that he is one of the better 27 players, makes anything other than calling bad.

The equilibrium looks to be:
Button push: 39%
Hero calls: 9%
BB calls: 15%

Calling with AKs is +2,15% against this pushing range.

It's a marginal call, but it is clearly +EV. So folding isn't big a mistake, but it is still a mistake. Joey thinks it is a bad fold, but just not a mistake which will cost you huge amounts of equity.
