two pair versus calling station.
UTG+1 is a calling station.
Based on that how would you finish the hand? Re: two pair versus calling station.
*grunch*
Why do you 3-bet the turn if he is a calling station? especially with the button cold calling 2 bets... as played call the cap getting 13-1 pot odds, but you might be drawing dead... |

IM assuming he hit his ace and that still puts me ahead.

Re: two pair versus calling station.
A calling station raising you on the turn probably means he previously hit his 3 or his 7 on the flop.

Re: two pair versus calling station.
Is he agressive with his good aces pf? Is he agresive if he hits top pair with weak kicker, or mediocre kicker?

Re: two pair versus calling station.
I'm ok with the turn, check-call the river. You're probably look at two pair with a paired Ace or a set.

Re: two pair versus calling station.
Calling stations call. They don't raise. I'm calling down from the turn raise, c/c the river.

Re: two pair versus calling station.
the pot is too big to fold to his cap. The turn raise screams better two pair or set, but I must admit, I feel biased by his turn cap .

Re: two pair versus calling station.
calling station as in calls down any piece but only CAPS monsters?
I would say there's a very good chance your way behind and drawing to 2-4 outs, maybe even drawing dead. but at 13:1 and closing the action, you gotta call. check call the river in this monster pot. |
