In my opinion, Jim Carrey has made the transition from over-the-top funny man to serious actor. No, he hasn't made the leap like Tom Hanks quite yet, but he's proven himself.

The Number 23 (I haven't seen this, so I don't know if his performance was good)

I can't remember watching a Robin Williams movie that I did not like. However, this poll is a bit of a wake up call though, because I have seen less than half of those movies. I love the guy, but I can see how his shtick gets old to some people.
