Coachella Final Roll Call

Hot Chip were always on the def list, i'm looking forward to that, a step down from LCD but it'll be great, although LCD Soundsystem's new album might bring down that gig. Great suggestions like Junior Boys was what i was looking for. A+!

New Pornographers, Of Montreal Good the bad and the Queen are bands i've heard a lot about but never listened to. Def. shall before hand.

Watching Arctic Monkeys will be more for the gig atomsphere, not a huge fan but it should be a good singalong and bonuce show.

I'll check out Girl Talk, Grizzly Bear and Andrew Bird.


I can't think of any one day in all of my life that is going to compare to the excitement before watching RATM on Sunday night. Maybe when i was a kid seeing snow for the first time ever.

I'm going, and I have like 25 "must-see" acts and another 25 or so I really want to see, which means I'm bound to miss something somewhere

My absolute must sees...

Day 1: Bjork, Interpol, Of Montreal, Rufus Wainwright, DJ Shadow (not even close to everything I WANT to see, just the five I HAVE to see)

Day 2: the Arcade Fire, the Decemberists, the Rapture, LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, Ghostface Killah, Fountains of Wayne
(not to mention !!!, the Black Keys, Andrew Bird, Kings of Leon, Roky Erickson, Peter Bjorn & John, Blonde Redhead, Girl Talk, and many others)

Day 3: Air, Happy Mondays, Junior Boys, Ratatat, Lily Allen, the Roots, the Kaiser Chiefs, Tapes N' Tapes, RATM (plus, if I can, Explosions in the Sky, Willie Nelson, and a couple others)

This lineup is insane. I can't remember the last time I was so excited for a festival.
