Default How I makes big monies at the unlimited hold thems

1) When "bluffing," it helps to actually have the best hand:

Button ($822.88)
SB ($308.28)
Hero ($376)
UTG ($321.59)
MP ($814.60)
CO ($791.65)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Button raises to $16</font>, SB calls $14, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $56</font>, Button calls $40, SB folds.

Flop: ($128) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $92</font>, Button calls $92.

Turn: ($312) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero calls $228 (All-In), Button calls $228.

River: ($768) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $768

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Button has Ks Qh (one pair, threes).
Hero has Kh Ah (one pair, threes).
Outcome: Hero wins $768. </font>

2) Against aggressive players, it is sometimes necessary to call large all-in bets, even with marginal made hands like top set:

Hero ($395.80)
SB ($300.40)
BB ($426.50)
UTG ($161.20)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $12</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $52</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, Hero calls $40.

Flop: ($108) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB calls $248.40 (All-In), Hero calls $248.40.

Turn: ($604.80) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

River: ($604.80) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $604.80

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has 9h 9c (full house, nines full of sevens).
SB has Ac Qd (one pair, sevens).
Outcome: Hero wins $604.80. </font>

3) When you've given up on a pot and decided not to bluff the river, it helps to have a hand that still has decent showdown value, like J-high:

Button ($275.40)
Hero ($432.40)

<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $12</font>, BB calls $8.

Flop: ($24) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $16</font>, BB calls $16.

Turn: ($56) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, BB checks.

River: ($56) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, BB checks.

Final Pot: $56

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
Hero has 8c Jc (one pair, fives).
BB doesn't show.
Outcome: Hero wins $56. </font>
