Default 100nl: NFD + Overcards OOP on turn: bet/check?

Villian is a regular fish - at 32/3/5.

I'm still trying to work on my turn plays oop, and I thought this hand was interesting.

What's your play and why?

I bet a good amount here-say $20. I am hoping that he folds, and folding if he pushes. If he calls, it will tell us he has a strong hand, which is great for us if another heart falls, as it will disguise our hand to a good degree. If a heart or Ace doesnt fall, I gotta check and fold the river.

MMmm I don't really like it too much. People usually play nitty on monotone flops, so he probably has a flush or a Q or something else big that he's not folding.

CRAI is a lot riskier but gets a lot more folds.

So you would CRAI or c/f here? Which would you say is more optimal +EV here? Or is it just a matter of whether Hero likes variance or not?

ch/rai

if he checks behind thats good for you as well.
after he called the flop hes not folding the turn to another 2/3 pot bet when that blank hits.

vs a player on the flop who i know is peeling a lot of the time with 1 pair ( i know this because he raises flop with 2pair+) i like to bet again here

vs the described villain i just check and hope to improve.

I would double barrel here, of course it's a tough spot if you get raised but I think this card is quite a nice card for you to double barrel on.
