Task Bar jumped to 2nd monitor
I shut down my computer using the on/off button. Yes, there were programs open. Restarted and now the "Start" taskbar is showing on monitor #2. How do I move it back to monitor #1? The program icons are still on #1.
Thanks in advance |

Re: Task Bar jumped to 2nd monitor
this may be a video driver setting, but first try to right click on desktop, and reset your primary display on the settings tab. if its still fubar, look in your systray area for an ati or nvidia icon, click it, and see if there are any settings for it. the nvidia settings are under nview i believe.

Re: Task Bar jumped to 2nd monitor
This is even in the FAQ.
[ QUOTE ] "My taskbar is on the wrong monitor!" Drag it back. (You'd be surprised how often we get this question. ) [/ QUOTE ] |

Re: Task Bar jumped to 2nd monitor
Click and drag is not working.

Re: Task Bar jumped to 2nd monitor
Right-click taskbar, choose to unlock it, then click & drag and lock it again.

Re: Task Bar jumped to 2nd monitor
I've seen this not be just a click'n'drag fix...though I'd suspect this is mostly likely the case.
Like ohgeetee said, this may be an advanced setting in your video driver. Look around |
