[ QUOTE ] I don't like drawing to the "possible" winning hand when I am AI. There are better spots w/o a read. W/ a read it might be a push... [/ QUOTE ] thats almost every hand in poker. [/ QUOTE ] You are all in with almost every hand? |

Re: $16s - 100/200, shove with a pair and a flush draw?
absolutely fine. you have FE and a big hand in HU blinds battle, plus you might get him to fold a better 4.

Re: $16s - 100/200, shove with a pair and a flush draw?
After seeing the discussion I still think my play was the correct move. He could have nothing, he could have a weak hand and won't be willing to call the shove, and my hand does very well against his range for the times that he ends up calling.

I like it. I might also be tempted to push PF

[ QUOTE ]
You have mid pair and a draw that may be drawing dead. [/ QUOTE ] You cannot be drawing dead. You either have a live draw, or currently have the best hand. Against even a tight player you're going to be about 40-45% to win most of the time when called. Since there is no chance you will be called 100% of the time, this play is great. |
